Summer Picnic

This year’s annual picnic for CRRC members, families and friends, will be held on Sunday, September 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at members Len and Ann Fisher’s home, 2020 Parklawn Dr., Lewis Center.

The Fishers have graciously offered their home near Alum Creek State Park for the past several years for the picnic. The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, chips, and water. Mention if you need a veggie burger when you RSVP.

Be sure to bring Lawn chairs, and personal beverages No alcohol restrictions since we’re eating at Len’s), and something to share with the group. If your last name begins with A-Q please bring Appetizers, Salads, or Sides. If your last name begins with R-Z please bring Desserts.

Also feel free to bring corn holes, volleyball equipment, and other useful items. There is a pond behind the Fishers’ house, bring fishing rods and bait to use if you are interested.

Directions: From the top of the I-270 loop, head north on US 23 (High St.) for about 6 miles. Make a right turn at Lewis Center Road (the first light after Home Road). Head east on Lewis Center Road for about two miles to the traffic light at Old State Rd. Turn right on Old State (south) and proceed for one block to Parklawn Drive. Turn right on Parklawn and locate the sixth house on the right. If you should get lost, just call (740) 549- 3069 and we will talk you in.
